Episode 69- Joe Eppele: Stone Sheep, Elk and Foraging

Joe Eppele is a former CFL offensive lineman and now co-hosts a hunting show called The Edge TV. Joe joins Chase and Sheldon via Skype and they talk about his 12 day stone sheep hunt, a camp caribou, being weathered in  on top of a mountain for 3 days in a tent, porcupines, mountain fitness, going ass over tea-kettle with a pack full of meat down a mountainside in the dark, grizzly encounters, celebration hugs, a special knife and foraging.

Previously Steve worked as a professional cameraman, and now plays a major role on the other side of the lens in Jim Shockey's Uncharted Yukon Series. Steve talks about the ins and outs of guiding trophy moose in the Yukon, along with creating a TV show around that life and how he made his way there.

Tony Peterson broke into the outdoor media world in 2003 and has earned a reputation as a prolific outdoors writer. Some of the content that Tony is known for is public land whitetail hunting, training and hunting with birddogs and getting kids outdoors. All of that literature can be found weekly on The Meateater's website and various other outdoor websites and magazines. Tony's more recent content creation has been in the podcast world.
